I was asked to do a celebrity cologne concept as an assignment. I chose Mike Rowe because he is a symbol of the everyday working man. He is known for being a dirty man, meaning he does the jobs for a day other people wouldn’t even think of doing on his show “Dirty Jobs.” Using this persona as my inspiration, I created the tag line that “even a dirty man needs to feel clean.” The bottle was a found object in which I put in blue food coloring and water to allude to freshness and cleanliness. The cap for the bottle was created using foam and the box was created using a template. The template was then put into Illustrator and the graphics and text were printed out and folded. The target demographic was blue collar men between the ages of 18 and 50.
