Trade show booth

With this project, I was tasked to create a model of a trade show booth. I decided to do an automotive restoration shop. The way the shop would draw in visitors into their booth would be to have three vehicles, perfectly restored of course, nose first into the ground. The inspiration came from The Cadillac Ranch in Texas, where a series of Caddies from the late fifties and early sixties are stuck in the ground at an angle with their front ends buried. I figured this would get the attention of trade show attendees.

The cars are 1/18th scale diecast models that were put through a bandsaw and then epoxied onto a wooden base. The wooden entrance is made from stained popsicle sticks and the walls are made from poster board with custom designed Indesign graphics. All in all, a very fun project.
